VMS from Daktronics has multi-level message priority, the highest priority is Emergency Priority. Emergency Priority will override any and all existing messages. The second priority is Medium Priority. The Medium Priority is triggered locally at the 334LS cabinet VMS controller dry contacts, shorting two pins on the contact closure will display a locally stored custom message. The lowest priority message is the Pre-empt Priority. The Pre-empt priority is a message from the TMC, it will override the default message only, while all other priorities will over-ride the Pre-empt priority messages. The VMS has a default message that is displayed when no other message priority is used.
